Despite the snow we had a good turnout for our first NLC Institute weekend at Yale Law School in New Haven. After warming up with some coffee and breakfast from Blue State Coffee (http://www.bluestatecoffee.com/) the Fellows spent the weekend getting to know each other through the life entrepreneurship course lead by Det Ansinn. They shared their life stories with each other and had a chance to work in groups on some competitions that we set up. Despite the late start on Saturday we managed to get through the course with enough time to enjoy the end of the happy hour event that we had scheduled at Mory's. The Fellows took the opportunity to unwind before heading home to rest up for Sunday's session.
In the coming weeks the fellows will be sharing their experiences at the Institute here in this blog so you can get an inside look at what kinds of things they are learning and what being a Fellow is like.
